Why choose a coated floor?
Looking for a coated floor? Then you’ve come to the right place at VEBRU Schilders. A coated floor consists of one or two components of polyurethane, epoxy, or acrylic and is similar to a cast floor, but with a much thinner layer. The floor coating is applied with a roller.
- Layer thickness is usually not thicker than 1 mm.

The Coating Floor Construction
Epoxy resins serve as the base for a coated floor. Dyes and fillers are added to these in the factory. Just like with cast floors, various standard colors are available, but almost any RAL color can also be created. Coated floors are also ideal for scattering with flakes in various colors.
We can apply our EP Coating in smooth and non-slip finishes. In areas where the floor may become damp (garages, balconies, galleries), it is recommended to scatter anti-slip grit onto the coating.
Floor coating substrate
Coated floors can be installed on almost any subfloor. Before the floor coating can be applied, mechanical pretreatment, such as sanding, grinding, or blasting, must first take place. The smoothness of the substrate determines the final result of your coated floor. The better the substrate, the smoother the coated floor will ultimately be. We will, of course, provide you with appropriate advice on this matter.
